Data: Over 3,500 websites attacked by secret cryptocurrency mining

the security research organization c/side recently revealed that more than 3500 websites have been attacked by hackers and implanted with hidden JavaScript cryptocurrency mining programs. Attackers use Web Workers and WebSocket technology to secretly mine cryptocurrencies when users browse infected websites.
