Trump says not sure if Russia sanctions are necessary

according to CCTV International News, Trump met with visiting NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg at the White House on the morning of July 14th local time. When asked about a new bill being pushed through the U.S. Senate to impose severe sanctions on Russia, Trump said, "I'm not sure if we need this." Trump said that some senior Republicans in the Senate are actively pushing for this. He does not want them to "waste time." But he also said, "This could be very useful, we'll see."
